"UGH ๐Ÿซค Why is this happening?!?"


So...what do YOU do when you're not feeling "great"?

Sometimes you're full of energy (hopefully)

Other times you're super mellow...or maybe even exhausted.

Overflowing with optimism + confidence here.

And then..."I think my brain (or other body parts) blew a fuse" over there.

It doesn't matter if you're๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡

โœ… Starting a business
โœ… Already working with tons of clients
โœ… Trying to figure out what you're good at (because you're SO READY to do something about it!?!)

You've got up days (hopefully lots of them) + days where EVERYTHING goes wrong!

Maybe it only lasts a few hours (but...I already know you've got NO TIME for this with your mountain of stuff to do, right?)

Your to-do list is giving you a dirty look - impatiently waiting for you to get off your butt!

Been there. Done it.

And I'm so sorry you're stuck in it at the moment

So here's what you can do to turn it around (and one of these usually works) ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡

โ€‹1) Take slow deep breaths.

You will never meet someone more impatient with themselves than me. So...I get how much you want this fixed. But we're slowing down - for just a few minutes - so we can speed up later.

You will feel better if you breathe slowly and just focus on that.

2) Whatever you're feeling - REMEMBER it's temporary. It'll pass.

The slow breathing + this ๐Ÿ‘† will actually help it pass sooner than later. Fixating on what's wrong + how annoyed you are (after thoroughly testing it out) only makes it last longer and feel worse.

3) Your body is usually the key to feeling better

Sometimes just getting that nervous (or emotional) energy out by walking, breathing, dancing to your favorite song(s) can change everything.

IF this is exhaustion, can you take a little nap? If not, slow deep breathing throughout the day has helped me wake up (even when I didn't get enough sleep).

4) If all else fails...REMEMBER this โฌ‡๏ธโฌ‡๏ธโฌ‡๏ธ

This tiny moment in your life sucks but...it's not a deal breaker for your future.

Usually, if you do steps 1 to 3, the tension + stress will start to slide off of you (and you'll start to feel well enough to do something).

If nothing works ๐Ÿ‘‰ this may be a sign that you need a break right now. Especially if you've been pushing yourself hard (and saying mean things to yourself lately).

When you're trying to make big things (to you) happen...

Magic can happen when you take regular breaks.

How often do you get major insights + brilliant ideas right when you're laying in bed?

Or driving somewhere
